About me

Hi! I’m Kasia.

The hardest part is writing something about myself… 😉 I’ll start by saying that cooking has always been my passion. However, I wanted something more than just delicious food, so I completed Nutritional Counseling studies at SGGW, combining taste with health. It was you (my Instagram followers) who inspired me to create the blog Kuchnia Bez Tabu. I don’t eat meat, but from time to time, I do eat fish, dairy, and eggs. 🙂 It’s hard to define exactly what type of vegetarianism this is, as it’s a mix of lacto-ovo vegetarianism and pescetarianism.
This is my own original cuisine based on the principles of dietetics. You’ll find articles about cooking, health, and beauty. Of course, what would a kitchen be without recipes? I’ve tested mine personally, so I only recommend what I consider tried and true. I don’t want to change your eating habits. I’ll help you find the same flavors in healthier versions.
In Kuchnia Bez Tabu, I’ll show you the basics of nutrition, which are incredibly simple.
I will address topics related to autoimmune diseases—just because you have a problem, such as a thyroid condition, doesn’t mean you have to give up delicious food. Metabolic syndrome is a collection of factors that interact with each other and, as a result, lead to serious diseases like type 2 diabetes. Being aware of this allows you to prevent it! All it takes is basic knowledge and a healthy diet. Aging is another important topic that affects us all. What’s worth knowing, how to slow down the process, and how to support yourself—you’ll find it all on my blog. The three cycles I’ve mentioned above will be successively enriched with practical, interesting, and easily digestible knowledge. Perhaps, at this moment, it doesn’t resonate with you, but I’m convinced that everyone will find something for themselves.
Recently, I became the proud mom of the most beautiful blonde 🙂 I know, I know, for every mom, her child is the most beautiful and the smartest. I’m happy to share all the tips on ‘how to navigate pregnancy without losing your mind’ 🙂 I tested this over nine months, so I’ve learned a thing or two… 🙂 Thanks to Róża, I’m currently learning to live, enjoy the little things, and, most importantly, gain perspective on many trivial matters (even though not long ago, they seemed so important). I’m taking away one beautiful lesson from observing my child and being a mom: if something doesn’t work out, you try and try again until you succeed. And I’m happily applying that lesson to my life!
I’m aware of how many culinary blogs are available out there. However, Kuchnia Bez Tabu is not just about recipes—it’s primarily about HEALTH. There’s a saying that ‘everything is for people’—and it’s true! But we often make mistakes, even in the simplest things. I’m here to help you realize that sometimes a small change can improve your well-being, health, and, in turn, positively impact the quality of your life.
I love traveling.
I take a holistic approach to life.
I practice yoga, so now let’s talk a bit about energy.

Why the yellow color on the blog?

It brightens up the gloomy Polish reality! 😉 It has an inspiring effect – perfect for everyone! Yellow stimulates the metabolism and also works wonders for the digestive system – it’s worth having at least one yellow item in your kitchen. Think about it! This color alleviates headaches and also has a positive impact during diabetes treatment. Yellow is the color of the Sun. I believe my blog will bring you positive energy despite the grayness outside. 🙂

What is my diet?

I try to choose organic products that are gluten-free and lactose-free. I’ll tell you which ones are worth it! I like healthy sugar substitutes. I often practice intermittent fasting – what is it and how does it work? I’ll be happy to tell you later! I believe there’s nothing more beautiful than a healthy gut – I’m fascinated by this topic, and you’ll see! I stick to eating windows – everyone needs rest, especially the body. I don’t eat meat, so you won’t find any meat recipes here. However, it’s true that instead of carrots or fish, you can use lean meat (preferably turkey from an organic source) in the recipe. Maybe you’ll try reducing your meat consumption? I promise you won’t regret it – and you’ll see what you’ll gain. You’ll find lots of interesting and simple recipes here. For the more challenging ones, I’ll be there to help. On my Instagram: @kuchniabeztabu, I’ll show you step by step how to prepare each meal.
Smile, calmly read the articles, and remember that you are the only person who can improve your own health!
I would be absolutely delighted if you stay with me in Kuchnia Bez Tabu! 😉
